Discover Data.
Connect Your AI.
Explore trusted datasets, connect through APIs and MCP servers, and bring external intelligence into your applications and AI workflows.
Start with legal data.
5 datasets from our first provider, LAW.co. Each listing shows its real access status, license and coverage — including what is not available yet.
U.S. Court Opinions (LAW.co corpus)
Federal and state court opinions in the LAW.co corpus: opinion text, case name, court, jurisdiction, decision date, docket number, reporter citations, judges, parties and attorneys. Legacy corpus is Caselaw Access Project-structured; newer opinions are ingested from CourtListener plain text behind LAW.co's copyright gate.

LAW.co AI Case Summaries
LAW.co-generated plain-language summary, holding, key issues, topics and procedural posture for a prominence-selected subset of cases. Only enrichment that passed LAW.co's QA gate (published / approved / auto) is exposed. Machine-generated; not citable as authority.

Directed citation edges between cases (citing case → cited authority, with pin cite), seeded from CAP cites_to data and extended with eyecite extraction on ingest. Exposed per case as 'authorities cited' and 'cited by'.

Legal data, built for retrieval and citation.
U.S. court opinions, AI case summaries and a case citation graph from LAW.co, with provenance on every record. Opinions, summaries and the citation graph are live over REST and MCP; no statute corpus or regulations are offered.

The REST API at api.data.co/v1 and the MCP server are live; keys are self-serve at app.data.co. Downloads are offered only where a dataset's license allows.
From search to a cited answer.
The marketplace is designed to support one path for people and agents alike: find a dataset, check what you may do with it, then query it with provenance attached.
- 1
Find a dataset
Search or filter by category, coverage, access method and pricing tier. Each listing shows its provider, sources, license, coverage notes and fields.
- 2
Check rights and status
Every access channel shows its real status — available, not yet connected, awaiting rights confirmation, or not offered — with the reason in plain words.
- 3
Connect with one key
An organization API key with explicit scopes works for both the REST API and the MCP server, so an agent gets the same permissions as your code.
- 4
Use records with provenance
Each record carries its source, license, retrieval time and a derived flag. AI enrichment comes in a separate block, so source text and generated text never blur.
Listings you can trust.
We do not publish record counts, date ranges or coverage until the provider has confirmed them; an unverified count reads “Not yet verified”. We do not fill empty categories with placeholder listings, and we do not show a working button for an access method that is not open.
Previews on these pages are synthetic samples; the API returns live records. Synthetic records are titled with a [DEMO] prefix, flagged in every response, and never billed. When something is missing — a statute corpus, regulations, a citation resolver — the relevant page says so rather than implying coverage.
Distribute your data to AI builders.
Keep control of licensing and pricing. We review rights, provenance and quality, then handle discovery, delivery and metering. Six of seven categories have no provider yet.
Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise.
Start free with dataset discovery. Pro is $149/month and Business $799/month; sign up at app.data.co and then create an API key.
Before you start.
Can I query datasets today?
Yes. Sign up at app.data.co, create an API key, and query LAW.co court opinions, case summaries and the citation graph over REST or MCP. Bulk downloads still await rights confirmation.
Who is the data for?
Developers building applications and AI agents, research teams, and organizations that need external data with clear rights. The first provider serves legal use cases.
What does it cost?
Discovery is free. Pro is $149/month and Business is $799/month, billed monthly in USD; Enterprise is quoted. Some datasets carry provider pricing on top of a plan.
Need marketplace data inside your own network?
Private deployment and governed access through Data.co Control.
