Priced for infrastructure, not per prompt.

Data.co Control is enterprise software licensed per deployment. The Data Marketplace has self-serve plans. We never make per-token billing the basis of your governance costs.

01Data.co Control

Enterprise licensing

Every Control deployment is scoped to your environment, modules and support needs. Pricing is quoted after a short technical assessment.

Annual software subscription

Licensed per deployment environment, with the modules you enable (Connect, Govern, AI, Deploy, Manage).

Connector- and workload-based options

Scale licensing with the systems you connect and the workloads you govern, not with token counts.

Support tiers

Business-hours or 24/7 support with defined response targets, set in your agreement.

Managed infrastructure contracts

Optional: Data.co operates hardware, models and Control in your environment under contract.

Air-gapped & offline licensing

Signed offline licenses for disconnected environments.

Custom enterprise agreements

Procurement-friendly terms, DPAs and BAAs where applicable.

02Data Marketplace

Self-serve plans

Billed monthly in USD; taxes may apply. Sign up and start any plan at app.data.co. Individual datasets may carry their own provider pricing and license terms.

Usage limits are described relative to each other here; your dashboard at app.data.co shows the limits in force for your organization. API and MCP access are live on every plan.

03Control quotes

How a Control quote comes together.

Control is priced around your environment, not around usage of a model. A quote follows four steps, and you see the scope before you see a number.

  1. 1

    Technical assessment

A short review of where your data lives, the systems you want to connect, the models you plan to run and any network or air-gap constraints.

  2. 2

    Scope

We agree which modules you enable (Connect, Govern, AI, Deploy, Manage), how many deployment environments you need and which support tier fits.

  3. 3

    Proposal

An annual subscription quote, with connector- or workload-based options and, if you want them, managed infrastructure terms.

  4. 4

    Agreement

Procurement-friendly terms, invoicing and the security review your organization requires, set out in one enterprise agreement.

04Two products

Which one do you need?

Choose Data.co Control when the goal is to run and govern AI on your own data inside your own environment: connecting internal systems, applying access policies, and deploying models on infrastructure you control. It is licensed per deployment, usually annually.

Choose a Data Marketplace plan when you need external datasets delivered to your applications or agents through an API or MCP server, with provenance and licensing on every record. Plans are self-serve and monthly. Many organizations use both: marketplace data can be brought into a Control deployment through private connections.

05Questions

Pricing FAQ

How is billing handled?

Paid marketplace plans are billed monthly in U.S. dollars by card through Stripe. Your plan renews each month on the date you subscribed.

Are taxes included?

No. Prices are shown before tax. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on your billing location.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes, at any time from the billing portal in the app. Plan changes are prorated, so you pay or receive credit only for the difference over the rest of the billing period.

How does cancellation work?

Cancel from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew; there is no charge for the following month.

Do datasets cost extra?

Some do. Each dataset has a provider pricing tier. Free-tier datasets are included on every plan; premium and contact-only datasets carry provider pricing on top of your plan. Tier prices are not published yet, and demo records are never billed.

Can we pay by invoice?

Enterprise agreements can be invoiced with terms agreed in the contract. Self-serve Pro and Business plans are paid by card.

Is there a free trial of paid plans?

The Free plan is the way to evaluate the marketplace. Talk to us if you need to test higher limits before committing.

When can I subscribe?

Now. Sign up at app.data.co with email and password or Google, create an organization, then start a paid plan and issue API keys from the app.

Why isn't Control priced per token?

Governance and infrastructure costs track the systems you connect and the environments you run, not how many tokens a model produces. Tying them to token counts would make your governance bill rise every time adoption grows.

Is Control pricing published?

No. Each deployment is scoped to your environment, modules and support needs, so it is quoted after a short technical assessment.
